Construction of a state of the art indoor multi–sport turf field facility to provide additional athletic opportunity to the youth of Cortlandt Manor.
Owned by Cortlandt residents who raised families here and coached sports.
For the residents of this town – mostly the youth but also the adults.
Through their experience coaching the children of Cortlandt became aware of the acute need and drew on that experience to design a facility that would both serve the need AND improve town athletic offering

- Local Climate Makes Outdoor Fields Unusable From Mid-November Through May
- Town Recreational Leagues, Travel Programs, and Local Sports Clubs Suffer From Lack of Fields
- There Are Too Many Local Teams for Existing Indoor Facilities to Service
- Many Facilities Currently Used are Undersized and Not Adaptable to Serve the Changing Needs of Youth Athletes as They Develop
- Many Facilities Currently Used Are Not Meant for Field Sports And Pose The Danger Of Injury
- Many Facilities Currently Used Provide No Place For Parents and Siblings To Wait Without Increasing The Risk Of Injury To The Players
- Many Facilities Currently Used Do Not Offer Sport Specific Dynamic Training Opportunities Necessary For Competitive Play

I know the developers have done an extensive traffic study and have established solutions for the traffic patterns that vastly improve the flow from what exists right now, let alone following completion of the sports center. There are no drawbacks, and it will only enhancements for our town.
